4-3-3 Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Leipzig

Real Madrid will entertain Red Bull Leipzig at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to earn maximum points on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos managed to secure a dominant 4-1 win over Mallorca last Sunday which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this European contest at home.

Carlo Ancelotti will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI in this game. Both Mariano Diaz and Luka Modric will play from the start as Eden Hazard and Dani Ceballos drops to the bench.

Thibaut Courtois will function in between the sticks for the German club as he looks to keep a clean sheet at home. Antonio Rudiger could get a chance to partner David Alaba once again at the heart of Real Madrid’s backline.

Dani Carvajal could get a chance to impress at right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them would get the license to get forward and create some decent chances in the Leipzig half.

Nacho and Lucas Vazquez might have to settle for a spot on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Luka Modric will make Ancelotti’s midfield as they look to dominate the opposition at the centre of the park and engineer enough clear-cut chances to win this European contest at the Bernabeu.

Tchouameni will be the one who would be responsible for offering adequate protection for his teammates at the back.

Dani Ceballos and Eduardo Camavinga will probably have to settle for a spot on the bench but might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if Ancelotti decides to call upon their services.

Vinicius Junior is expected to keep his place on the left flank while Federico Valverde looks to put in another impressive display from the right.

Mariano Diaz could get a rare chance to lead the charge for Los Blancos in the final third. He will have to carry some of the goal-scoring workload for the Madrid giants up top.

As mentioned earlier, Eden Hazard will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to impress in the latter stages if needed.
