£80 million striker sent clear Arsenal transfer message ahead of summer exit

Darren Bent has warned Dominic Calvert-Lewin not to sign for Arsenal during the summer transfer window amid speculation that Everton are willing to sell the striker

...

It is no secret that Arsenal are in the market for a new striker this coming transfer window and have been eyeing up a number of possible players that could make an impact at the club next season

Calvert-Lewin is a player that has mentioned quite a few times now over the past few months, as the recent speculation in the media have suggested that Everton are willing to let the player leave in order to freshen up the squad

...

Speculation earlier this week even suggested Calvert-Lewin had already agreed terms with another Premier League club, with rumours rife that Arsenal were already setting up a deal ahead of next season

But despite the fact Arsenal are a club that are on the rise, former Premier League striker Bent believes that Calvert-Lewin should be looking to sign for a different London club, telling talkSPORT: ‘I think for Calvert-Lewin, West Ham. They need another centre forward; they cross the ball.’

There has been so many speculation and rumours about the young man and where he will be at the start of next season. But one thing is for sure, Everton will allow him to depart the club if the right offer does arrive

...

The money he could go for is alot and that would go a long way into freshening up the side that will need some new players in the transfer window

Is he a man that can net 20 goals a season? We are not 100 per cent sure, but he has proven that he has the ability to score in the Premier League and in a side that is as creative as the Gunners, he could flourish

...

But choosing the Hammers over a move to Arsenal? that is a massive decision to make, even though David Moyes side have been brilliant this season

So it will be interesting to see just what he does if the opportunity arises
