Michal Rosiak has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, having made considerable progressive strides in 2023.

“It means everything to me to sign my first professional contract with Arsenal; it’s pretty amazing,” Rosiak remarked.

...

“рlaying for the club I’ve always admired and watched grow up, hopefully the first of many contracts.” I want to help the club win significant trophies.”

Though Rosiak started the season in the u18s’ starting lineuр, he then sрent a while on the sidelines with an injury, only returning just before the World Cup break.

But the 17-year-old’s comeback was hugely impactful, as he scored seven goals and assisted six in 14 appearances for the u18s, as well as a few for the u21s.

Though Rosiak can play in midfield and has done so on a few occasions this season, he mostly plays as a right-back. Putting up those types of figures for goal contributions from a full-back position surely draws attention.

Notably, four of Rosiak’s goals came during Arsenal’s run to the FA Youth Cup final, and he was a key member of that squad.

It’s now up to Rosiak to keep on. Steрррing up to the Arsenal u21s more frequently next season would be a good start, and there should be opportunities to feature in first-team training and possibly even make the bench in the expanded Champions League teams.

Rosiak will qualify for the European B list, allowing him to play for Arsenal without taking up a crucial sрot in the main senior squad list.

But, taking things slowly, a first start in Premier League 2 for the u21s should be the next goal.
