BREAKING: Serie A and La Liga giants show interest in signing Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka

Arsenal and England winger Bukayo Saka is allegedly being pursued by Juventus and Atletico Madrid, as the teenager continues to impress for club and country.

...

According to CalcioMercato in Italy, Juve is monitoring the growth of the 20-year-old and will face competition from Atletico Madrid if they make a bid for him.

Arsenal would not sell Saka for less than €50 million (£42.7 million), according to the source, and although this is accurate, the Gunners would be hoping for much more.

...

Saka has established himself as a key player for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta, having made five Premier League games so far this season, four of them have been starts.

He’s also been a regular for England, and he was a key figure in the Three Lions’ path to the Euro 2020 final this summer.

Saka is one of the finest young prospects in world football, yet he is under contract at Arsenal until 2024, so it seems doubtful that he will leave the club for less than £50 million.

...

Saka played the entire 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Burnley on Saturday, but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said that he struggled at times and still has work to do.

‘Well, he hasn’t got a lot of physical preparation,’ remarked the Gunners manager. ‘I believe there are still areas where he can improve, but he is making an effort.’ Another player who struggled in the last minutes was him.

‘However, it’s fantastic that he’s able to endure and somehow overcome these problems and adversity during games when things aren’t going his way.’

‘That is part of football. He had parts where he was brilliant and then he struggled and then he was brilliant again.

...

‘That is better than being brilliant and then to struggle, struggle and struggle. So it’s part of his development and I’m really happy with him.’

Arsenal host AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and Saka may well be given the night off ahead of the huge north London derby against Tottenham at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
