Done Deal: Chelsea transfer round up: Achraf Hakimi bid increased, Striker Agrees deal and new number 10 set to join

It could be a case of fine-tuning for Thomas Tuchel as he prepares Chelsea’s Premier League title challenge next season.

...

The Blues were lifted by the German boss following a mid-season slump and incredibly secured their second Champions League crown.

Tuchel capitalised on the quality club legend Frank Lampard brought in at Stamford Bridge the summer before his sacking.

...

And he is expected to focus on signings as he gets ready for a title charge.

“Two or three could be very, very good,” Tuchel told reporters last month. “It’s a constant thing to never deny change.

“That you always bring new energy, new guys who question the old beliefs, who challenge everybody in the training and in matches, so I think it’s a good thing.”

Hakimi bid increased

...

Chelsea have made an improved swap deal offer for Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi.

That’s according to II Corriere dello Sport, who claim the Blues have offered €50m plus Emerson Palmieri for the versatile Moroccan.

...

The report suggests Chelsea will allow Inter to choose other players that could be used in the deal, including Davide Zappacosta, Mateo Kovacic and Tammy Abraham.

PSG are also credited with an interest in Hakimi and have reportedly offered €60m for the 22-year-old.

Giroud agrees Milan switch

Olivier Giroud has reportedly agreed a deal to sign for AC Milan.

The Blues triggered an extension in Giroud’s contract to avoid him leaving on a free transfer in this summer’s transfer window.

But according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the French striker has agreed on a two-year contract worth £3million a year with the Rossoneri.

The report claims Giroud must ‘free himself’ from his Stamford Bridge contract to complete a switch.

It is added that the veteran forward will only join Milan if he arrives on a free transfer.

Giroud is currently preparing for France’s mouthwatering Euro 2020 opener against Germany on Tuesday.

Chelsea ‘favourites’ for Grealish

Chelsea have emerged as surprise favourites in the chase for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, reports in Spain claim.

Fichajes report that the Blues have moved ahead of the pack in the pursuit of the England international as Tuchel aims to bolster his squad further.

Grealish is a player of unique quality and notched seven goals and 10 assists this season despite spending a large part of the campaign injured.

He has now fully recovered from his disruptive knee injury and could be at the centre of a transfer battle after the conclusion of the Euros.

Manchester United and Manchester City have both also been strongly linked with the playmaker.

However, Grealish is under contract at boyhood club Villa until 2025 and it would take a huge transfer fee for the Midlands club to even consider a sale.
