“No, no real changes to the rest of the players who were injured. We have some hope on one who may be able to train tomorrow but we’ll have to see,” said Arteta at his pre-match press conference.
Pressed on who the player was, the Spaniard replied simply: “I’m not going to tell you.”
Given that Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu are both out for the season with knee injuries, Arteta could only have been referring to Nketiah or Saliba.
Striker Nketiah has been out since March 1 with an ankle injury and Saliba has been sidelined since March 16 with a back problem.
