Kylian Mbappe makes bold statement after UCL exit amid Real Madrid speculation
The French forward is keen on a move away from Paris saint Germain

Kylian Mbappe surprised the football world last year when he signed a contract extension with PSG, despite the fact that he was expected to join Real Madrid as a free agent.
In retrospect, the Frenchman made the wrong decision, as his team was knocked out of the Champions League for the second time.
Despite having so many big names up front, PSG failed to score a single goal in the Champions League round of 16 against Bayern Munich.
While both Mbappe and Lionel Messi have been in excellent form this season, their team appears to be unbalanced and lacks the strength to compete for Europe’s top prize.
Unsurprisingly, speculation about Mbappe’s future has resurfaced. Despite his contract extension, rumours linking him to a move to Real Madrid have not gone away.
Mbappe appears to be completely focused on the task at hand at PSG for the time being. According to Express, after the match against Bayern Munich, the Frenchman told reporters:
“Am I considering my future? No, I’m not worried. This season, the only thing that matters to me is winning the championship. We’ll see what happens after that.”
As a result, Mbappe is currently focused on winning Ligue 1 with PSG. However, he made no long-term commitment to remaining at the club.
Mbappe’s contract extension was also not for a long time. It lasts two seasons, with the player having the option to extend it by another season.
With Mbappe’s struggles at PSG, including failing to win the Champions League in six attempts, it will be interesting to see how long he stays in the French capital. On a domestic level, he doesn’t have much to prove and recently became the club’s all-time leading scorer.
