Manchester City Players Rated In Win Vs Sevilla

Manchester City clashed heads with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to grind out a good result on the road to open up their UEFA Champions League campaign. Erling Haaland opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute as Man City cruised to a 1-0 lead at the half-time break.

Phil Foden doubled his team’s advantage in the 58th minute with a clever finish. Haaland struck again for Man City just nine minutes later before Ruben Dias added a fourth goal in injury-time. The match ended with the Mancunian giants earning a hard-fought 4-0 win in Spain.

The Spaniard anchored the midfield well and was accurate with his passing.

He worked hard defensively and engineered a couple of decent chances in the final third.

RW: Phil Foden – 8.5/10

The English talent was a constant menace in the final third and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 58th minute with a good finish.

ST: Erling Haaland – 8.5/10

Haaland was a real threat in front of the opposition goal and scored a goal in both halves to help Man City secure a dominant win away from home.

LW: Jack Grealish – 7/10

He created some inviting chances for others around him but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

The German midfield ace made two key chances in the final third.
