Thierry Henry sends strong message to Luis Campos on How to Fix PSG’s Squad Issues

Luis Campos, Paris Saint-sporting Germain’s advisor, will need to reflect and examine the squad that has yet again been eliminated in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
Campos needs to start making big changes that shake the foundation, and CBS Sports pundit Thierry Henry advised the club president that it’s time to bring in French players who identify with the club.
“You have to be able to identify with the team, and sometimes you have to go and catch this community of supporters and people who love the club,” Henry said (h/t RMC Sport).
“What do you see when you look? Is this Paris St-Germain? What are you constructing? Will you add players and let them play, or will you create something? Bring back the best young French players, in my opinion. Because the majority of them are Paris Saint-Germain fans, they have the money to bring them back, so why not?”
The Portuguese executive has a keen eye for talent and has previously worked at clubs that have produced talented players such as Kylian Mbappe. Campos, on the other hand, needs to ramp up his pursuit; last summer, he did bring in Hugo Ekitike, who has shown promise but is still a work in progress.
Nonetheless, PSG has been linked to several French players who may identify with the club and city in recent weeks, but it will be interesting to see whether or not the Ligue 1 club can pull the trigger and bring these players.
